I am a litigator/arguing counsel having a demonstrated practise history over a decade in the legal industry. I am an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India.

Having graduated from the National Law University - Kochi, I started as a Legal Counsel with the mining group Vedanta Resources Plc. I was thereafter a Counsel in the Chambers of former Additional Solicitor General of India, Mr. P.S. Narasimha, who is currently a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. In his office, apart from working on diverse fields of law, I was a part of the legal team defending India before the International Tribunal for the Law of Seas at Hamburg, Germany in the high-profile Italian Marines Case (Enrica Lexie Incident: Republic of Italy v. Republic of India).

Through my previous experience, on the private and the Government side, I bring a strong acumen and understanding towards business strategy vis-a-vis litigation risks in all matters. My office advises leading industry players across sectors as well as Government entities on a range of matters and issues.

Presently, I have also been appointed as a Panel Counsel to the Ministry of External Affairs in which role I provide legal assistance to Indian Diplomats in various countries apart from representing the Ministry in Court. I also train government officers and diplomats on legal issues, particularly on issues relating to the Right to Information Act.
